For starters, with a Yukon elopement, you get to spend more time together celebrating with one another on your wedding day. Elopements are also way less overwhelming and stressful than a big wedding. It’s cost-effective and means you can spend the day how you want from start to finish. From a photography standpoint elopements are the bomb! They allow us to focus more on you and your unique love and capture that essence from start to finish. Plus it means we can sometimes pick adventures and dreamy locations and maybe even time it so we are there when we have the best lighting of the day.
All around photographing elopements is the best! I have created this top-secret (until now) guide of the top 10 shots you need at your elopement. Now this isn’t to say you wouldn’t also benefit from doing these poses on any wedding day, elopement or not. These are my favourite poses to give you the BEST elopement photos imaginable.
Try something new! If you found a pose on Pinterest that made your heart happy, whip it out and have your photographer to help you recreate it. Another wildcard idea is to take a silly photo! Give your photographer the finger. You know the one! The one with a big shiny ring on it now!! Sometimes doing something random can be such a fun photo keepsake.
